 About # Middle Sea
Why is it # Middle Sea ?
Many of you may want to know, why is this site called # Middle Sea? Well, its name originated back in 2003, when I still went to Plus! IRC server on a daily basis. At that time, there was a fad that regulars created their own Channel. For example, we had #downunder and #uphigh. I was also thinking about establishing a new channel of mine, with a meaning of the same - and then #middlesea was there, with the meaning of "drifting within the middle of a immense sea".
At first, # Middle Sea had nothing to do with websites. But as I went renovating my english website in December 2003 and couldn't think of a good name, I saw the text #middlesea in mIRC - and that was it! Now # Middle Sea has become the official name of my (English) website. You might say, "Mnjul created a hard-to-pronounce nickname for himself, and now another strange name for his website..." So, how to pronounce # Middle Sea? The answer must've been the same: in whatever way you like. Well, I say it like Shar-Middle Sea.
